On October 25 - 27, 2019, we took part in our first airsoft event – Operation Madison. The event was dedicated to the U.S. 95th Infantry Division and the battle of Metz in November 1944. Our group portrayed nurses attached to the 109th Evacuation Hospital which at that time was located in the town of Thiaucourt, about 35 kilometers from Metz. We admitted a large number of casualties but, fortunately, none of the wounds were real.
